I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read. Brandt is a true alpha who never stopped loving his mate, even after she'd left him. I loved Brandt and Emma together. I just wished she would have told Brandt in depth about how the pack's politics truly made her feel; how deep her brother's death affected her. As the reader, we knew, but I wished she would have communicated that to him as well. However, Brandt was still understanding and reveled in his reunion with his mate. I loved the way he handled the subordination and betrayal of some of his pack members. He was fierce in his protection of his mate, too. Nice read.Product details

I enjoy stories about bear shifters and this one was a delight to read. I enjoyed the different characters as well as the story itself but I especially loved the romance and happy ending.
That's what I thought when they said the alpha was missing his head and skin. That someone made themselves a nice rug. This was a really fast read. I recommend to all those who enjoy bearshifters....
this story has love rekindled, betrayal, and murder. will they figure everything out in time. will love be enough? who will find love next?
This book is part of a series, but unlike many other teaser books it's an enjoyable and complete tale that leaves you the choice to pickup the others to enjoy instead leaving you frustrated because you have to buy another book to come to closure. I will most likely purchase other books in the series because of this.
And love the shifters......this is my first by Meredith Clark and Ashlee Sinn. I have added them to my list of favorites and will be looking for more books by this duo. This book has everything I look for....Very, Very typos.....Great, strong characters and it is STANDALONE even tho it is a series. Love it.
Oh my, I loved this book. It makes the start of a new series and I can not wait to read the whole series when it is out. I love the characters and the story line. I cried at parts and was so happy for the end for Brant and Emma. I can notwait to see what happens next with the brothers. I did receive a copy of this book for an honest review and I loved it.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I am very happy to say I really liked it. This is first of a new series for her so I look forward to reading more about this family or Clan in the coming months. In this book we meet Brandt Callaghan and also get to know Emma Davis. Sometimes one leaves because life because to hard to bear (pun intended), other times simply because you need and want to grow some. This book is a little of both in my opinion. If this is how all her books are I look forward to reading all of them.
